The International Symposium on Pervasive Systems, Algorithms and Networks
(I-SPAN) is an interesting and engaging forum for scientists, engineers, and
practitioners from across the globe to exchange ideas and research results related to the
design, use, analysis, and application of Pervasive Computing, architectures, algorithms,
networks and internet technologies. This is the tenth conference for I-SPAN conference
and it will be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, 14th-16th December 2009. I-SPAN 2009 will
have eight tracks: Algorithm and Applications, Architecture and Systems, Ubiquitous
Computing and Systems, Network and Data Communications, Internet and Web
Technology, Medical Informatics, Intelligent Systems and Informatics and Multimedia
Technologies. Relevant topics include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Biomedical Informatics and Computational Biology
  • Compilers and Optimizations for Parallel Processing

Submission Guideline:

Please submit your complete paper(s) through the I-SPAN 2009 submission site:
http://grid.chu.edu.tw/ispan-09

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers. The Proceedings
of the conference will be published by Conference Publishing Services and the content will be
submitted to the indexing companies for possible indexing. IEEE cannot guarantee that
any particular abstract or index entry will be included in Ei Compendex.
The length of the camera-ready manuscripts will be limited to 6 pages
(IEEE Proceedings style). Detailed instructions for electronic paper submission can be
found at the conference web site. All submissions will be evaluated for originality,
significance, clarity, and soundness. At least one author of each accepted paper is
required to register and present the paper at the symposium. The enhanced version of
the best-quality selected papers that have been presented at I-SPAN 2009 may be
invited for publication in the special issue of international journals.


Workshop Proposal:

The I-SPAN 2009 Organizing Committee invites proposals for one-day
workshops affiliated with the conference and addressing research area related
to the Symposium. The workshop proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Services.
